Margaret Duhe, age 53, passed away on June 29, 2026. Born on June 3, 1973, Margaret was a delightful person whose warmth and quick sense of humor naturally lit up every room she entered.

A dedicated and talented professional, Margaret served as the General Manager at the Holiday Inn in Covington, La. Her strong leadership, kindness, and steady guidance made her an exceptional manager and a cherished colleague. Her ability to bring joy and laughter into any setting left a lasting impression on everyone who worked with her and knew her.

Margaret is survived by her loving son, Jacob Duhe; her former husband, Chris Duhe; her father, Roy Cressy; her brothers, Ryan Cressy and Louis Cressy; and her sister, Courtney Lege.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Alice Marie Cressy.

A celebration of life will be planned in the near future to honor Margaret’s memory and the beautiful light she shared with us all.

Margaret will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the brightness, laughter, and love she brought to her family, friends, and community.
