Obituary

Manuel "Manny" Londoño was born in Ibagué, Colombia, on April 12, 1952. In 1981, he made the courageous decision to move to the United States to pursue his professional ambitions and build a future in a new country. He settled in Ocala, Florida, where he began working as a trainer of Paso Fino horses, a profession that would become an important part of his life. Manny also pursued his dream of becoming a United States citizen, proudly achieving that milestone in 1990.

In 1986, Manny met Sharon, who would become his wife, life partner, and steadfast supporter. Together, they built a life rooted in family, hard work, and a shared commitment to their dreams. They established Rancho Poker Paso Finos, combining their efforts and passion for Paso Fino horses. More importantly, they raised their children and built a family whose bonds became an enduring part of their life together.

Manny was a man who spoke his mind and was known for his unmistakable honesty. He believed in telling it like it was, often with a sense of humor that could bring laughter to those around him. His straightforward nature and humor were part of what made him uniquely Manny, leaving family and friends with stories and memories they will carry with them for years to come.

Manny's life was shaped by his journey from Colombia to the United States, his dedication to his work, and the family he built along the way. His story reflects the determination it takes to start anew, pursue a dream, and make a life in a place far from where it all began.

Manny was preceded in death by his son, Arthur Manuel "Little Manny" Londoño.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his four children, Jose Manuel Londoño (Stacey), Jorge Luis Londoño (Shirwin), Jacob Robert Londono, and Annette Lorraine Londoño; and his two granddaughters, Paris and Lilly.

Manny leaves behind a legacy that is as much about who he was as what he accomplished. He will be remembered for his honesty, his humor, his dedication to his work, and the life he built with his family. Those who knew him will carry forward not only the memories they shared with him, but also the laughter, the candid words, and the unmistakable personality that made him who he was. Though he will be deeply missed, Manny's story will live on through his family and all those whose lives he touched. He will be remembered, missed, and loved always.
