Linda Lee Callais, a long time resident of St. Bernard, passed away peacefully on the 14th of January 2026, aged 82.
A native of New Orleans, Linda was born to Frank and Juanita Giammanchere. She led a life of public service and will be remembered for the many lives she touched.
In death she joins her beloved husband Robert Callais and sister Cindy Weiskopf. She is survived by her daughters, Nanette Houpy (Ventura) and Charlene Irby; Her grandchildren, Chris Morrison, Brandon Houpy, Whitney Houpy, Jeremy Irby, Mariah Houpy, and Joshua Irby; as well as her many great-grandchildren.
