Leo Pearson

Leo Pearson Age 63, Leo passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Ochsner Medical Center
in New Orleans, LA. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage
in facing life challenges with a smile and with uncompromisable faith. Even until the end, Leo
continued to put his loved ones first.

Born May 6, 1959, in Easley, SC, to Earl and Cleo (Jones) Pearson Jr. Leo was a 1975
graduate of Cheyney University in PA. Married to Mekdes Pearson (Gebreyohan). He worked
as an Industrial Engineer for many prosperous years, displaying a wonderful knack for solving
problems and working with others. Leo truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures like
enjoying the company of friends and family, writing books, and by exercising the uncanny ability
to reach people in deep and positive ways.

He is survived by his wife, Mekdes Pearson of Covington, LA. Former wife Sheila Pearson.
Daughter, Candice Pearson. Son, Cameron and wife Sylvia Pearson, grandson Liam Pearson
all of West Chester, PA. Brother, Earl and wife Claudia Pearson III of Haines City, FL; Brother
Thomas Harper of Houston, Texas; Sister, Sharai and Mark Brock of Simpsonville, SC; Aunt,
Bessie Harrison and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends, and others whose lives
Leo touched in so many ways.
