Laura Hebert Windom

Laura Hebert Windom, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 72. She was born on November 30, 1952, in Buras, Louisiana and was a resident of Franklinton, Louisiana.

Laura was a warm and caring soul who treasured the simple joys in life. She found great pleasure in spending time on her porch with her cherished fur baby, Izzy, where she enjoyed the beauty of her surroundings and the time spent with her companion.

She leaves behind her daughter, Angela Strain Freeman, and her husband, Michael; her son, Jeramire "JD" Henderson; her brother, Kenneth Hebert Sr (Judy); her sister Marie Dupre (Jimmy) and her grandchildren, Ryan Strain and his wife Brandy, Amaya Henderson, Jed Henderson, and Charlee Henderson. They all hold dear many precious memories of the love and kindness she shared with them.

Laura was preceded in death by her father, Wilson Paul Hebert; her mother, Ruth Inez Alcorn; and her siblings, Paul Hebert, Ronald Hebert.

Laura's family celebrates her life and the love she gave to each of them, knowing that her spirit will remain in their hearts forever.
