Kathleen Berard Levee

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Kathleen Berard Levee who departed this world May 8, 2025, in Covington, Louisiana, at the age of 79. Born on September 25, 1945, in St. Martinsville, Louisiana, to the late Joseph Zachary Berard and Lucille Bourque Berard. Kathleen's life was one with kindness, love, and devotion to her family.

Kathy was a quiet but loving woman who would do anything for her children and grandchildren. She loved drinking coffee and spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed playing cards, specifically Bridge with her friends. She was quite crafty and loved music and dancing. She loved animals, dogs and cats in particular.

She was a loving sister to her cherished siblings: Gayle Berard, Debbie McClintock, Joey Berard, and her late siblings Juanita Smith, Richard Berard, and Kenny Berard. Together, they created a community of shared experiences and memories that will be treasured forever.

As a devoted mother, Kathleen poured her heart into raising her children. She is survived by her son Joshua Levee, her son Jacob Levee, alongside his loving wife Jennifer Wingate Levee, her daughter Emily Levee Caserta and her husband David Caserta, and her daughter-in-law Holly Parrot Levee. Kathleen was also blessed with a wonderful array of grandchildren who will remember her forever: Natalie Levee, Corie Levee, Alexander Santana, Isabella Levee, Andrew Levee, Sam Caserta, and Maggie Caserta.

Kathleen's life was enriched by the love of her late husband, Stephen Henderson Levee Jr. and her late son, Stephen Henderson Levee, III, whose memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew them.

She touched countless lives with her sweet nature and compassionate heart. Kathleen Berard Levee will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

In celebration of Kathleen’s life, friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home located at 75212 Lee Rd, Covington, LA 70435. The Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM followed by a Memorial Service starting at 3:00 PM. Following this, Kathleen will be laid to rest at Eternal Rest Cemetery.
