Karl Wayne Galloway

Karl Wayne Galloway, age 72, of Bush, Louisiana, passed away on November 4, 2026.

Wayne was a devoted husband, loving father, stepfather, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a simple country boy who loved his family, enjoyed the outdoors, and found happiness in the things that mattered most in life. He took great pride in his family and the many generations he leaves behind.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Galloway; his children, Jessica (Scott) Ingram and Christopher Galloway; and his stepchildren, Ashley (Jeremy) Arabie, Shannon (Albert) Jones, and Anthony Boxwell (Heather Moore).

Wayne was blessed with a big family and many grandchildren who brought him joy. He leaves behind his grandchildren, Victoria Holden, Tyler Holden, Cole Holden, Christopher Galloway Jr. (Little Christopher), and Emma Galloway; his step-grandchildren, Logan Ingram, Hunter Ingram, Remington Ingram, Alyssa Boxwell, Gabriel Boxwell, Jenna Arabie, Lillian Boxwell, Nova Moore, Chris Jones, and Aaron Jones; and his great-grandchildren, Braxtyn Holden, Lainey Holden, and Brynleigh Summerall. Each one held a special place in his heart, and his love for his family will live on through them.

He is also survived by his sisters, Claudine Cassano, Gwendolyn Plauche, and Frankie Bryant, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and beloved friends.

Wayne was a country boy through and through. He loved hunting, enjoying the outdoors, piddling in the garden and spending time around tractors. He didn't need much to make him happy. Give him a little time outside, something to work on, or a day doing what he loved, and he was content. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed the simple things in life and lived life in his own way.

More than anything, Wayne loved his family. He leaves behind memories, stories, and a legacy that will carry on through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He may not have been a man of fancy things, but the love he had for his family was something money could never buy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emria and Emma Galloway; his brother, Ronald Galloway; and his sisters, Virginia Rogers, Bonnie Pratt, Theresa Galloway, and Barbara Galloway.

Though he may have left this world, the memories of him will always remain. His family will remember him in the quiet of the woods, the sound of a tractor running, and all the little things that remind them of the man they loved.

He may have left the woods, the fields, and the tractor behind, but the love he planted in the hearts of his family will grow for generations to come.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Rest easy, Wayne. Your work here is done.
