Kameron Joseph (Red) Landry

Kameron Joseph (Red) Landry passed away suddenly on 2/19/2024. 

He was born in Baton Rouge, LA. on 06/12/1980 and grew up in Zachary and Bush, LA. but recently was living in New Orleans, LA. He worked and lived in Nigeria for several years. He was the first born son of the late Barnabas Abel Landry and Donna West Landry. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Barnabas Abel Landry of Mandeville, LA, his 4 grandparents, Stephen Joseph Landry & Sadie Budd Landry, of Berwick, LA. and Carl Dale West of Gravette, AR. and Alice Greer West, of Bush, LA.

Kameron is survived by his wife, Vera Amaka Landry (Lagos, Nigeria), his beloved son, Bradly Michael Landry, (Mandeville, LA), his mother, Donna West Landry, of Mandeville, LA., his only sibling, Casey Ross Landry (Baton Rouge, LA). He will truly be missed by his extended family including many cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends. 

Kameron loved life, he enjoyed all kinds of music and he loved interacting with people. He lived life to the fullest. He truly loved New Orleans and the people he met there.

Kameron was devastated at the recent passing of his father whom he deeply loved. Kam’s family and friends are heartbroken at losing him so  unexpectedly and too young. 

The family would like to thank the medical staff at University Medical Center in New Orleans for their care of him.
