June "Dommie" Ann Rohrbacker

June Ann Rohrbacker, lovingly known as "Dommie," passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at her home in Covington, Louisiana, on July 25, 2025, at the age of 83.

Born on June 19, 1942, in New Orleans, Louisiana, June was the daughter of Joseph Rousseau and Marie Wallace. She spent her life immersed in the vibrant culture of southern Louisiana, where she built a life grounded in love and family.

June dedicated many years to the Jefferson Parish School Board as a Food Service Manager. Her work reflected her care for others and her commitment to serving her community with warmth and dedication.

She is survived by her son, Jay Rohrbacker; two daughters, Jerry Ann Henderson (Duran) and Jeanne Terrebonne (Ryan); seven grandchildren, Shay Rohrbacker, Zachary Dufrene (Sarah), Taylor Rubach, Jude Rohrbacker, Sage Dufrene (Lauren), Jacob Rohrbacker, and Lynn Terrebonne; and four great-grandchildren Emilee Trosclair, Caroline Dufrene, Skyler Dufrene, and Kye Dufrene.

June found joy in life's simple pleasures- attending theater performances and live music events, playing games with loved ones, or sharing heartfelt conversations over a glass of wine. She had a passion for reading, enjoyed watching true crime stories, and shared a special bond with her beloved cat Amos.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Rohrbacker, as well as her parents.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025. Visitation will take place at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Hwy 437, Covington, LA 70435, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Mass. June will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery, 75376 River Rd., St. Benedict, LA 70457.

Her memory will live on through the lives she touched with kindness and grace.
