Joseph Anthony Billiot

June 23, 1975 — August 12, 2025

Poplarville, Mississippi

Joseph “Joe” Anthony Billiot, 50, of Poplarville, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025. Born in Covington, Louisiana, on June 23, 1975, Joe was a man whose life was marked by a deep love for his family, an unforgettable sense of humor, and an honesty that made him uniquely himself.

Joe is survived by his devoted wife, Nikole Billiot, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Joe cherished his role as a father and was deeply proud of his children—Meghan, Micheal, Cameron, Cayden, and Gianna—who were all his greatest joys.

He also leaves behind his mother, Susan Maria Cutrera Billiot, and his father, Aubrey Louis Billiot, who raised him with values of compassion. Joe was a beloved brother to Bryan Billiot (Berly) and David Billiot (Heather), with whom he shared countless memories. Joe is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Larry and Sandi Bernos, as well as his brothers-in-law, Russel Viola, David Viola, and Russell Bernos. He cherished his numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his great-niece, all of whom he loved deeply.

Those who knew Joe will remember his passion for life’s simple joys—watching football, hiking through the mountains, vacationing with his family, and spending time with his dogs, Rollo and Siggy. He was happiest sharing good food, especially Italian dishes and all the sweets he could find. Joe’s presence brought warmth, laughter, and steadfast love to those around him. Though he faced personal battles in his life, he remained a man who loved fiercely and cared deeply. His greatest joy was his family, and the memories he created will be cherished always. Joe will forever be remembered as a loving husband, committed father, caring son, devoted uncle, and faithful friend.

Joseph Anthony Billiot’s journey on this Earth has ended, but he is now at peace and free. His love, laughter, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
