Joey Michel, Sr.

Joey Michel, Sr. of Covington, Louisiana passed away on April 16, 2023 at the age of 72. Joey is survived by his loving partner, Romona Heasty, the mother of his children Mary Michel, his sons Joey Michel (Gretchen) and Michael Michel (Amanda). Joey also leaves behind to cherish his memories, his sister Shirley Ducote, his grandchildren Meghan, Lindsay, Katelyn, Caden and Kenadie.

Joey is preceded in death by his parents, Augustin and Ella Michel as well as his sister Theresa Ducote.

Joey had a love for sports, watching his grandkids play ball, coaching, fishing, Harley Davidson Motorcycles and collecting Old Cars

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment to follow in the Barker McManus Cemetery.
