Joe T Collis

Mar 1, 1945 — Aug 7, 2026

Covington

Joe Tom Collis was a devoted dad, a loving husband, the best Papa (and Great "Papas), and a hardworking man who dedicated his life to the people he loved most—his family. He worked hard, not only to provide for them, but to give them a life filled with love, security, and memories that will last forever.

Throughout his lifetime, Joe held many different jobs, always willing to work hard and do whatever was needed. But much of his working life was spent building and installing pumps for wells that helped bring water to countless fields across Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas. His work was a testament to his determination, strength, and pride in providing for others.

Joe was the kind of dad and Papa who showed his love through his actions, always putting his family first and doing whatever he could to make sure they were cared for. His strength, kindness, and unwavering dedication will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Though his hands grew tired from a lifetime of hard work, his heart never stopped giving. His greatest accomplishment was never what he built or earned, but the family he loved so deeply.

He was our dad, our Papa, our protector, our provider, and our home. He will be missed beyond words and loved beyond measure.

A graveside service will be held in Plainview, Texas, where Joe will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, LeAnn (Wilson) Collis. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating their lives and the love they shared. Service details and final arrangements will be announced when they are complete.
