JoAnna Lynn Mayeaux

JoAnna Lynn Mayeaux passed away on May 14, 2026, in Marrero, LA, at the young age of 32. JoAnna was born in New Orleans, LA.

She loved living life fully and had a special affection for animals, especially cats. She also worked hard to earn her GED through the YCP Program in Pineville, Louisiana.

JoAnna was preceded in death by her father, Gregory J. Benson; her mother, JoAnna Maria Mayeaux; her brothers, Gregory Mayeaux and Greg R. Mayeaux; her beloved wife, Tiffani Thiel; and her grandparents, Ona Mae Vance and Robert J. Benson.

She is survived by her brother, John M. Mayeaux; her grandmother, Frances Mayeaux; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In honor of JoAnna's lifelong love for animals, the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to your local animal shelter in her name.
