Joann Jordan

It is with great sadness that the family of Joann Rachel Jordan announced her passing on October 20, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with heart problems.

Left to treasure her memory are her devoted and loving life partner, Kenny; her much loved son, TJ and her dear “daughter,” Ashley; her cherished Aunt Jodi, Uncle Ricky, and Uncle Jay; her dear sister, Nicole; and her life-long friend, Kathleen.  Joann was predeceased by her parents, Leah and George and by her beloved grandparents, George and Jeannie, who lovingly raised Joann after her parents’ passing.

Joann loved her feline fur babies, Gizmo, Socks, and Biggie Boy, and gave them a playful and loving home.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed looking at sunsets and watching nostalgic old movies.  Joann was a very strong-willed person, as evidenced by her lengthy medical struggles and refusal to give up.  She was a very giving and caring person, who will be missed by all of those who were lucky enough to be part of her life.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of Bagnell and Son Funeral Home, 75212 Lee Road, Covington, Louisiana at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 1, 2022, followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM,. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association.
