Jewel Renee Leger

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jewel Renee Leger, who brought joy and light into the lives of those around her. Born on January 17, 2017, in Nederland, Texas, Jewel was a vibrant young girl whose spirit shone brightly during her brief time with us. She left this world on September 16, 2025, in Covington, Louisiana.

Jewel was a cherished daughter to her parents, Jodi Leger and Candace LeBlanc. She was a beloved sister to Faith Leger, Gage Deshotel, and Gunner LeBlanc, who will forever hold fond memories of playful laughter and sibling adventures. Jewel was also embraced by her extended family, including her loving grandparents, Louis and Renee LeBlanc and Erwin and Ilene Leger. She was a niece to her uncle, Cody LeBlanc (Saylie), and enjoyed wonderful moments with her cousins, Axel and Ellie LeBlanc.

Jewel's light was brightest when surrounded by her family, who adored her hand-in-hand laughter and boundless curiosity. Her days were filled with exploration and joy, and she had a unique ability to find happiness in the simplest of things.

A visitation in honor of Jewel will be held on September 22, 2025, at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home in Covington, Louisiana, from 11:30 AM until 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service celebrating her precious life at 12:00 PM.

Though time was not on our side, the impact Jewel made will be felt forever in the hearts of those who loved her. As we gather to remember this spirited little soul, we are reminded of the beauty and fragility of life. Jewel Renee Leger will always be remembered for her infectious smile and vibrant spirit that will continue to bring warmth to our lives.
