Jessie Fredrick Taylor Jr.

Jessie “Jess” Fredrick Taylor Jr. passed away December 27, 2025. He was born January 13, 1936 in Covington LA to the late Jessie F. Taylor Sr. and Rebecca Tisdale Taylor. 

Jess was the beloved husband of the late Janice Harrison Taylor. He was the father of Debbie O’Keefe (Keith), David, Timmy, Billy (Kim) and Joey. He was the proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren . He is survived by his sister Carolyn Taylor Cox and proceeded in death by his brothers Titus Taylor, Colman Taylor sisters Gladys Taylor Booth, Ola Taylor Fussell, Oudia Taylor Talley and Lavern Taylor Talley. 

Jess was well known as founder of Lee Meat and Jess’ Seafood. He was a member of the Louisiana Cattleman Association and enjoyed working on his small farm.
