Jerry Alvin Miller

Jerry Alvin Miller, born on November 7, 1933, in New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away peacefully in Covington, Louisiana, on December 27, 2025. He led a life of dedication and service, exemplified by his time as a U.S. Navy Seabees Veteran, where he demonstrated his commitment to his country.

Jerry will be deeply missed by his beloved family. He is survived by his wife, Mariyln Venturella Miller, and his son, Alvin August Miller. His legacy will continue through his grandchild Kerry Miller and great- grandchild, Anzlie Miller, who will carry forward the values and love he imparted.

He was preceded in death by several cherished family members, including his father, Alvin Miller, and his mother, Iona Westerhaus Miller. He also mourned the loss of his child, Kerry Anthony Miller, and his sister, Betty Miller Forcha. Each of these individuals held a special place in his heart, and their memories live on through Jerry's life and the family he cherished.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home in Covington, Louisiana, on January 7, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This will be followed by a funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM and concluding around 1:00 PM at the same location.

Jerry Alvin Miller’s life was marked by love, resilience, and dedication, and he will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege to know him.
