Jeremy Pennington

Jeremy Scott Pennington  “Duke”, age 40 of Abita Springs, passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 20th. Jeremy was a loving and active father who enjoy the outdoors and every thrill that life had to offer. Jeremy was proceeded in death by his mother Robyn Lynn Pennington and his grandfather Harold Pennington. Jeremy leaves behind a wife, Tarah Lynne Pennington, 2 sons Noah and Sylas, his daughter Madison Laine, his sister Sara Neal, Godparents, Linda Pennington and Mark Carroll, a grandmother Minnie Pennington and his Aunt, Felicia Lube. Jeremy also was able to bless a family with a little boy through the gift of adoption. Jeremy was an honorable organ donor.  Before Jeremy’s life came to an immediate hault, he had found joy and love through Jesus Christ. He found peace and comfort through his favorite scriptures  “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30.  Jeremy will be missed by all who knew him.
