Jeanne Totman Stanton

Jeanne Therese Totman Stanton passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025 in Mandeville, Louisiana. A native of London, England, Jeanne graduated from Ursuline Convent School in Greenwich, England.

Jeanne worked for Lloyds of London before moving to the United States in 1959. Preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Jessie Totman, her husband, Stephen Gerald Stanton, and her siblings, Dick, John, Margaret, and Elizabeth. Jeanne was a devoted mother and homemaker who resided in California, Arizona, Michigan, Florida, North Carolina, Mississippi, and Louisiana.

She was an enthusiastic reader, fan of tennis, and enjoyed her daily martini. She loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her sister, Catherine Kelly, and her children, Stephanie Marlbrough (Gary), Catherine Anderson (Michael), and Stephen Stanton (Jennifer). As well as her grandchildren, Daniel, Thomas, Alex, Max and Ryan; and her great grandchild Asher.

A private celebration of life will be held on a future date to honor Jeanne’s life.
