Obituary

Jeanne DiGiovanni May was born on October 8, 1966, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She passed away on June 3, 2026, in Abita Springs, Louisiana. Jeanne lived a full life that touched many around her.

She was known for her passion for health and fitness, always making time for activities that kept her strong and active. Jeanne loved to dance, earning her the affectionate nickname “dancing queen” among those who knew her well. She was also dedicated to playing softball and cherished moments spent with family and friends. The beach held a special place in her heart, where she found peace and joy in the sun and sea.

Jeanne is survived by her loving husband, Warren May. Her parents, John DiGiovanni and Rita Guillot Dore’, were an important part of her life. She leaves behind her children: Chazzie Williams, Giovanna May, and Ethan May, who carry forward her spirit. Jeanne was a beloved sister to Janell DiGiovanni Guidry (Randall) and Brittany Klipstein (Kevin).

Her family grew even larger and richer through her many grandchildren, whom she adored: Julian Fallo, Bella Fallo, and Ava Fallo. She was also a proud aunt to several nieces and nephews: Morganne Guidry, Grant Guidry, Kason Klipstein, and Channing Klipstein.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on June 18, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lakeshore Church, located at 15261 Brewster Rd, Covington, Louisiana 70433. This event will bring together family and friends to remember Jeanne, to share stories, and to celebrate the joyous life she led.

Jeanne DiGiovanni May’s legacy of love, energy, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
