Jeanne L. Clement

Jeanne L. Clement passed away on September 14, 2026, in Covington at the age of 66. She was born on May 20, 1960, in New Orleans. She grew up in Marrero and resided in Covington for the last 20 years, where she built a life centered on faith, family, and service to others.

Jeanne was a loving wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, and friend and the heart of our very own “Brady Bunch” family. She was silly, loving, strong-willed, passionate, and deeply faithful, with a way of making the people around her feel loved, supported, and prayed for.

Throughout her life, Jeanne taught our family about the power of prayer, never losing faith, and the importance of giving rather than receiving. She spent years in music ministry, sharing her talents in churches and nursing homes, hosting Bible studies, sending daily scriptures, and always making sure the people around her knew they had someone to call when they needed a friend or a prayer.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin Clement. She also leaves behind her children, Derek Tenorio and his wife, Heather; Danielle Tenorio-Beaugez and her husband, Hunter; and Dustin Tenorio and his wife, Taylor. Jeanne is also survived by her stepchildren, Joshua Clement and his wife, Raelyn; Amanda Schaubhut and her husband, Lido; and Mallory Bourgeois and her husband, Daniel.

Her memory will also be cherished by her grandchildren, Tanner Tenorio, Annabel Tenorio, Gracelyn Tenorio, Chandler Tenorio, Paisley Clement, River Clement, Lowell Bourgeois, Adelais Bourgeois, and Lucille Bourgeois. In each of them, her love for family continues on, and her presence will remain deeply felt in the many moments they shared together. Jeanne also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, and “bonus children,” all of whom held a very special place in her heart.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her late husband, Torey J. Tenorio, the father of her children; and by her brothers, Ronald Landry; Merlin “Sonny” Landry, husband to Sandra; and Kenneth Landry.

Above all, Jeanne treasured her family and especially loved being a grandmother. Some of her greatest joy came from simply having the people she loved together. Her faith remained at the center of her life through every season, and the lessons she taught us will continue to be carried on by the family and friends who loved her.

Her legacy is one of faith, family, generosity, music, and love and a reminder to pray often, love deeply, give freely, and never lose faith.
