Jeanette Hart

Jeanette Hart, a wild and loving soul, entered her eternal rest on August 27, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on November 26, 1951, Jeanette’s life was filled with love, strength, and devotion to her family. She is survived by her children, Shannon, Dustin, Darla, and Darryl; her twin sister, Jennice; and her brother, Lester. Jeanette was a proud grandmother to Brittany, Shayla, Mariah, Layla, Michelle, and Bryan, and a cherished great-grandmother to eighteen great-grandchildren: Nathan, Iain, Thomas, Anabella, Caden, Audrey, Tye, Kadence, Madelyn, Mayleigh, Paul, Ayden, Marissa, Maggie, Jaylen, Amelia, Kent and Braden. She also leaves behind her beloved niece Shyla, nephew Ryan, three great-nieces Alyssa, Gracie, and Emily, and her great-great nephew Myles.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents, Nadine and Jim; her baby brother, John; and her granddaughter, Ashley.

A memorial service to celebrate Jeanette’s life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 541 Ave F, Bogalusa, LA 70426. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend.
