James Alan Henson, 56, of Mandeville, LA passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016. James was born on June 15, 1960 in Marrero, LA. He graduated in 1979 from Lawrence County High School. James was an employee at Mandeville Bake Shop for 10 years. He enjoyed baking, shopping and spending time with family and friends.
James is survived by his father, Calvin J. Henson; his siblings, Wanda Henson, Robin Goings, Penny Lambert, Sarah Henson and Beverly Ashe as well as a host of nieces and nephews. James is predeceased by his mother, Dorothy May Hardy; brother, Chester W. Henson; sister, Perri A. Stephens and nieces, Brandi S. Smith and Beth Ann Henson.
