Jacqueline Richards Charouleau

Jacqueline Richards Charouleau, age 93, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born on September 27, 1932, in New Orleans, Louisiana. 

Jackie lived a life centered on her family and the joy she found in everyday moments. She was full of life and laughter, with a warm personality that brought people together. Her love for her family was constant and unwavering, and she cherished time spent with those she loved most. Her sense of humor, stories, and bright spirit will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Charouleau; her parents, Anthony Richards and Mary Richards; and her siblings, Joan Stock, Ronnie Richards, and Helen Kulivan. Jackie is survived by her three children, Debbie Schmidt (Bob), Glen Charouleau (Linda) and Craig Charouleau (Lisa); her 7 grandchildren, Kim Waguespack (Michael), Jenni Vicknair (Craig), Craig Charouleau Jr.(Dianna), Cheri’ Menard (Matt), Olivia Charouleau, Louie Claveria and Carlos Claveria (Jill); and her 14 great grandchildren, Hayden Waguespack, Christian Waguespack, Brea Vicknair, Noah Vicknair, Graysen Waguespack, Addie Waguespack, Brody Vicknair, Chase Charouleau, Benson Menard, Ellie Charouleau, Emma Menard, Cody Charouleau, Lucian Claveria, Ripp Claveria and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Lake in Mandeville, on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 12:00PM. A visitation will be held at church at 11:00AM. The Burial location will be Lakelawn Metairie Cemetery, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124.
