Jack Thomas Burridege, age 77, passed away peacefully, Monday, October 13, 2025, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana where he resided with his wife Donna.
He was born March 27, 1948, in St Joseph, Michigan to Phyllis D. and Jack H. Burridge.
He graduated from Manatee High School, Bradenton, Florida in 1967. Jack studied Criminal Justice and graduated with a Bachelors Degree from St. Leo University of Florida in 1979.
Jack was a sergeant at the Tarpon Springs Police Department of Tarpon Springs, Florida from 1970-1980. He left the police department to join the Navy. He served in the Navy from 1980-1991 and retired as a lieutenant.
After retirement from the Navy, Jack moved to Louisiana, where he worked in law enforcement until he retired from the Louisiana State Police in 2006.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Kimberly Burridge Stewart. He is survived by his wife, Donna Burridge; step son, Matt (Kristy) Samuels; former spouse, Karen Fountoukis Burridge; sisters Lynda (John) Gay, Paulette (Joseph) Kohrs, Annette (Duane Sr.) Kortas; and one brother, Thomas C. (Maria) Burridge. He is also survived by 5 nieces, 5 nephews, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many friends and other relatives.
