Irene is preceded in death by her husband, William, R Moncrief, Sr., Daughter Kathleen Nastasi and her late parents, Edward Henly, Irene Smith Henly.
She leaves behind her children, Donna Taylor, William R. Moncrief Jr. (Carol) Michael G Moncrief (Joann), and son-in-law, Peter Nastasi. Along with siblings, Edward, Eileen, Elroy, Norita, Mildred, Evelyn, and five grandchildren.

An Inurnment will follow in the St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery 75376 River Rd. St Benedict, Louisiana 70457.
