Irene Muriel Barthelemy, of Covington Louisiana, passed away in Covington, Louisiana on the Seventeenth of April, 2026. Aged 72.

Irene Barthelemy was born in Springfield, Massachusetts to Lucian Vincent and Alma Buteau Vincent on the Tenth of November, 1954. It was there that she spend her formative years before settling in Covington Louisiana.

In Covington Irene, and the love of her life Victor Barthelemy Jr., filled their house with the laughter of children raising: Anthony Vincent, Sonja Barthelemy, Terril Barthelemy, and Michael Barthelemy. Over time blessing multiplied granting Irene and Victor fourteen grandchildren to love: Elijah Emanuel, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Kayleigh, Braden, Noah, and Kayden Barthelemy; Michael, Leilani, and Anabel Sellier; Victoria Couch, Kyle Naylor, and Fiona Naylor; As well as one great-grandchild, Michael Oliver Dixion Matran

Irene will be interred alongside Victor Barthelemy Jr. at the Southeastern Louisiana Veteran's Cemetery on the Fifteenth of May, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
