Hyacinth Nord Stonicher

Hyacinth Nord, born January 7, 1951, in Nueces, Texas, to Fred Nord and Joan Bergeron, passed away in hospice care in Mandeville, Louisiana.

Hyacinth was a fun-loving and sharp-witted person who never met a stranger. In her younger years, she was an adventurer at heart and found joy in gatherings, especially a good party or parade. Her vibrant personality and warmth left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She is survived by her sisters and brothers, as well as her nieces and nephews. Her friends in Georgia held a special place in her heart and were an important part of her life.

Hyacinth was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

She was cremated and, in accordance with her wishes, a private service will be held at Saint Joseph Abbey in Covington, Louisiana.
