It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Henry Frank Gay, of Loranger Louisiana, on the 24th of May, 2026.

Henry Frank Gay, Frank to those who knew him, was born on the 4th of February 1970 to Austin Gay and Alma Gay in Shawnee Oklahoma. Early on his family moved to Hammond, Louisiana where his ten siblings taught him the importance of family.

Somewhere along the way Frank felt a calling to be a truck driver, keeping the world moving by keeping his wheels turning. When he wasn't on the road, Frank enjoyed tinkering and figuring out what made things work. He also enjoyed Remote Control Semi-trucks and model trains.

Frank's love of family likewise persisted Meeting the love of his life Michelle "Myrtle" Gay and raising two children Kirsten Gay (Bug) and Corbin Tew (Biño). His family grew again with the births of grandchildren, Lauralei Jane Austin Tew.

Henry Frank Gay was preceded in death by his parents, Austin Gay and Alma Gay; his siblings Beverly Doss, Dean Guileyardo, and Buddy Killens. He is survived by Frankie Landry, Josephine Reborn (Tommy) Paula Poole (Shane), Misty Sullivan (Travis), Teresa Bass (Ricky), Thomas Killens and Kelly Naquin (Tammy); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life (not a funeral) will be held on June 27th at the Dove Park Church of God located at 925 Grey Lane, Covington, Louisiana 70433. Visitation at 11:00 AM with service to begin at 01:00 PM
