Henry Paul Clayton III

Henry Paul Clayton III, born March 22, 1970 in Ville Platte, LA, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the age of 53. He is survived by his mother, Janet Claire Boothe Lopez, father, Henry Paul Clayton Jr, stepmother, Karen Robertson, brother, David Ashton Clayton, loving and caring cousins, family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Arthur John Lopez, uncle, Patrick Clayton, uncle, Mark Clayton, and aunt, Debra Clayton. 

Paul graduated from St. Paul’s School in Covington, LA and served in the U.S. Army. He loved to be outdoors enjoying nature, the sounds of nature, and the peace it gave him. He was a skilled craftsman in the field of construction, imaginative and creative at his craft.

Paul was quick to laugh and enjoyed time with family and friends. His enormous heart was filled with love and compassion, and he loved with all his heart. He would answer a call for help without hesitation, often choosing to help others before himself. He was kind and loving to all animals and spent time playing in the yard or just relaxing with his pets, Rusty and Abbie. 

A Memorial Service will take place grave side at the Bogue Falaya Church Cemetery, 14239 Willie Rd, Folsom, LA 70437, Friday, January 12, 2024, at 12:00pm.
