Frank Samuel Pyle Jr.

Frank is free. He is happy and at peace. Frank will be doing all of his favorites for the rest of eternity. Critter watching, fishing in Lake Pontchartrain, drinking a cold one while listening to some country music but above all he’ll be spending his days under the lights of Talledage and Daytona stadium with his favorite driver Dale Earnhardt Sr. Frank Samuel Pyle Jr. passed away April 26, 2023. He was born in New Orleans January 5, 1950 to his loving parents the late Frank and Therese Pyle. He was a native of Lacombe Louisiana where he played baseball and basketball and attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the first Boy Scout in Lacombe to do so. After graduation from Slidell High School, he joined the Air Force and served in MS, Texas, and Brindisi, Italy. He worked for K & B Drugs as a manager for many years . Frank enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, cooking, "critter watching" and NASCAR racing, traveling to Talladega with his children and grandchildren several times. Frank is survived by his children, Cyndi (Roy) Bigner and Sam (Carrie) Pyle. He was a loving Pawpaw to all of his grandchildren. James (Beth) Bigner, Nathan (Kacie) Bigner, Hayden (Summer) Bigner, Jessika Bigner, Taylour Pyle, Jennifer Bigner, Kylie Pearson, Evan Pyle, Meggan Bigner, Ethan Pyle, Madyson Bigner, Cydni Bigner, Delia Pyle and Cultus Pyle. He was so proud to be a great grandfather and loved his great-grand children JJ Bigner, Zayden Bigner, Zachary Bigner, and one on the way (hoping for a girl.) “Bossy big sister” Marylou (Ken) Guillory, 2 nephews and their families along with his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. There will not be any services per Franks wishes. He only wanted you to remember him next time you are enjoying hot boiled crawfish and crabs.
