It is with heavy hearts and profound respect that we announce the passing of our beloved Faye Anita Sevin, who left this world peacefully in her home on June 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Faye was born on November 9, 1949, in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana, to her cherished parents, Raymond and Narcille Mayeaux. Her life was a testament to warmth, love, and the enduring bonds of family.

Faye's journey through life was marked by her extraordinary ability to make everyone around her feel loved and welcomed. Her gentle spirit and kind, selfless heart left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond James Mayeaux and Narcille Lacour Mayeaux, and she leaves behind a legacy of love embodied in her devoted husband, Allen Sevin.

Faye and Allen's love story began in Algiers, where they exchanged vows on August 5, 1967. For six decades, they shared a life filled with laughter, adventures, and unwavering devotion. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Michael, who, along with his wife Micky and Keith, who, along with his wife Jennifer, carry forward Faye's legacy of love and kindness.

Faye's life was further enriched by her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored and loved dearly. Her nurturing presence and boundless love will forever be remembered by five grandchildren, Eric, Brandon, Matthew, Grant and Tyler and four great-grandchildren Karsynn Belle, Elizabeth, Kole and Kaden, who were the light of her life.

Faye was the oldest of five surviving siblings, Andy, Charmin, Will, Ramona and Rick.

A graduate of Martin Behrman High School, Faye was a woman of many passions. She loved nothing more than being by the side of her soul mate, Allen, dancing to the rhythm of life, and escaping into the pages of a good book. Her greatest joy, however, was found in the time she spent with her family, always ready with open arms and a warm smile.

While Faye's passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved her. In honor of her wishes, a private celebration will be held to celebrate her life and legacy.

In this time of sadness, the family finds comfort in the enduring memories they created together. They extend their deepest gratitude to everyone who has reached out with love and support. As they navigate the days ahead, they hold onto these words: "Your memory is a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure."

Faye Anita Sevin's life was a beautiful testament to love, family, and kindness. As we bid farewell, we do so with the knowledge that her spirit will forever remain a guiding light, inspiring us to love as she did—with our whole hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family request a donation for her favorite animal, the elephant, to go to the Elephant Sanctuary at https://www.elephants.com located in Hohenwald, TN.
