Emma Peterman

Emma Jane Pharis Peterman passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at her home. Emma was born on February 26, 1928 in Alexandria, Louisiana to the late James Andrew Pharis and Florence Elizabeth Humble Pharis. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert W. Peterman, her brothers; James Andrew Pharis, Jr., George Oswald Pharis, and Jean Pharis. Emma is survived by her twin sister, Helen Clare Pharis, her daughters; Jane Herman and Beth Bardwell (Keith). She is also survived by her grandchildren; Jarvis Bardwell, Rona Hereford and Von Ehren Herman as well as her great grandchildren; Jodie D. Bardwell, Wesley Hereford, Jocelynn Herman, Jaina Hereford, Maddox Herman and Beaudean “Beau” Herman. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
