Elizabeth “Deeda” Hughes Freret Luke, passed away at the age of 89 on Thursday, August 24, 2017. Native of New Orleans, LA, she was the only child of the late Douglass Vincent Freret and Elizabeth Hughes Freret. Deeda is survived by her three children: Elizabeth Freret Luke Nern (Robert); Daniel Douglass Luke (Karen); David Burrows Luke (Laurie). Deeda was blessed with one granddaughter, Elizabeth Parsons Gilman (Aaron); her two beloved great grandchildren, and her kitty, Tutti Bebe. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Christ Episcopal Church, 120 S. New Hampshire St., Covington, LA.
