Elaine Masset Rodriguez

Elaine (Tutty) Masset Rodriguez, age 92, beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27, 2026.

Elaine was the wife of the late Franklin R. (Frank) Rodriguez. Elaine was a native and lifelong resident of Metairie, LA. Elaine is preceded in death  by her mother Antionette K. Masset, her sisters, Laura Faust, Helena (Hellie) Whitaker, Dorothy (Dottie) Mentel, and her brother John (Sonny) Masset. 

Elaine was the beloved mother of Karen C. Schott (Bob) and Edward Rodriguez (Kimber). She was also the loving grandmother of Jessica Drum English, Tara Schott Aguilar, Derek Rodriguez, Johnny Puzzio, Jr., Chelsea Rodriguez, Lacey Rodriguez, Huxley Rodriguez, and Blaze Rodriguez. Elaine was the loving great-grandmother to Carmela Puzzio, Madelyn Veron, Claire Koper, Amelia Aguilar, Aidan English, Arden English, Mariah Rodriguez, and Elijah Rodriguez.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at St. Francis Xavier Church, 444 Metairie Road on May 15, 2026. Visitation is from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass. Following the mass is a celebration of life next door to the Church in the St. Joseph Hall from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A private burial service will take place on June 1, 2026.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
