Donald Martin Hogan

On the Fourth of June, 2026, Donald Martin Hogan, of Abita Springs, passed away peacefully in his sleep.

Don grew up in Cleveland Ohio. He met the love of his life Mary Lou when he was a junior in high school. Their lives were combined as one from then on. They had six children and stayed married 68 years. His career started in the military and then on to sales for Mobil Oil and retiring with IBM. Don loved family, friends and golf. He was passionate about his country and patriotism. 

He will be remembered in our hearts forever!

Donald was preceded in death by his parents: Donald Herbert Hogan and Angela Hogan; and two of his sisters, Betsy and Lois. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lou Hogan; His children Donald M. Hogan Jr. (Lynn), Kevin Hogan (Lynette), Daniel Hogan, Timothy Hogan, Kathleen Hogan Tanner (Marvin) and Mollie Hogan Domingue (Jerry); His siblings Sean and Susan; Twenty-Three grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

The family will hold a private funeral service at a time of their choosing.
