Diane Batter Tebbe, “Dee-Dee” passed away peacefully on August 11,2025 after a 25-year battle with MS. She was born on January 13,1955 in Upland Pennsylvania. She is preceded in death by her parents Lenard and Velma Batter and her beloved husband Ralph Milton Tebbe.
Survived by her sister-in-law, Megan Tebbe Boesch (Jerry) and many loving friends.
When Diane was healthy, she and Ralph enjoyed traveling to the Smokey Mountains, Disney World and Mount Airy to celebrate the “Andy Griffith Days”. Diane was a very talented artist and happily shared her talents by volunteering for her church, for plays or any other event that could utilize her creativity. Diane also loved anything old. She loved to watch old movies, listen to music from the 40’s and reminisce about actors and athletes from the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. She loved to collect anything antique. She had quite the collection of antique furniture, knick-knacks, toys and jewelry.
When MS took her mobility, Diane accepted her situation and remained cheerful and quite happy with her life. When she needed help with daily chores, she begrudgingly accepted help from her new caretaker, Kathy. Kathy eventually became Diane’s dear friend, confidant and therapist. Diane considered Kathy as part of her extended family. She loved having visitors, especially from her boyfriend, Justin. Justin and Kathy helped care for Diane until the end. For this, she was truly grateful.
