David Joseph Thebault

David Joseph Thebault, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away on April 7, 2025, just shy of his 64th birthday.

David was preceded in death by his loving parents, Wilbert and Florence Thebault; his brothers, Wilbert "Bubbie" Thebault and Gerard "Mike" Thebault; and his sister, Patricia McComas.

He is survived by his cherished daughter, Melissa Thebault and stepdaughter, Madeline Christenberry. He also leaves behind his beloved siblings: Linda Herbert, Sandra LeBlanc(Philip), Pauline Caronna(Michael),Sheran Thebault, Jean Thebault and Paul Thebault (Lisa). David is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and lifelong friends.

A devoted father, David's daughter Melissa was truly the center of his universe. He will be remembered for his sharp wit, infectious laughter, and unforgettable storytelling. David had a rare gift for humor and an uncanny ability to lift spirits even during the darkest of times; To know him was to laugh with him.

David will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
