David Wayne Legendre

David Wayne Legendre of Hammond, Louisiana passed away on July 10, 2023 at the age of 63. David leaves behind to cherish his memories, his son James Legendre (Kathy), step children Trent Gardner, Jamie Gardner and Scott Kirby. His siblings, Cheryl Jones (John), Floyd Patrick Legendre, Jr. and Brian Legendre. He also leaves behind to cherish his loving memories, his grandchildren Jeremiah James Legendre and Kassandra Rose Legendre  along with 9 step grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Patrick Legendre and Lois Marie Legendre, as well as his sister Susan L. Keating.

David had a passion for carpentry, woodworking, spending time with his grandkids and making jokes.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday July 21, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
