Daniel Clifford Karcher Jr.

Daniel Clifford Karcher Jr., born March 19, 1944, passed away on September 21, 2026.

Dan will be remembered as a man whose greatest joy was found in the people he loved most. He was proud to be a husband, father, and grandfather, and his family remained his pride and joy throughout his life. That devotion shaped the way he lived and the way he will be remembered by those who knew him best.

He served his country in the United States Army, a chapter of his life marked by duty and commitment. In his working years, he was a former employee of Holy Cross High School. Beyond his service and career, Dan embraced the things that brought him happiness. He loved fishing with his boys, body building, and drag racing, pursuits that reflected both his energy and his enjoyment of life.

Above all, Dan’s life was rooted in family. He is survived by his wife, Alice Tracey Karcher; his daughters, Dana Karcher-Martinez and her husband Omar, and Danelle Karcher-Morales and her husband Lonny; and his sons, Daniel (Danny) Clifford Karcher III and David “Duck” Karcher and his wife Nettie.

His memory lives on as well in his grandchildren, Owen Alvarado and his wife Daniela ,Michael Gilly and his wife Madeline, Kaden Karcher, Kye  Karcher, Saige Vedrenne, Madison Morales, Hunter Morales, Luke Martinez, and Sophia Martinez.

He is also survived by his brothers, Ronald Karcher and his wife Linda, and Rodney Karcher and his wife Jonell; his sister, Sylvia C.C Lewis and her husband Bubby, sister in law Mary Miller (Johnny) along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will carry his memory forward with affection.

Dan was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Karcher Sr.; his mother, Ethel Broussard Karcher, his mother in law Dora Turnbull ; his sister, Diane Karcher Tramontana; and his brothers, Gary Karcher and Alan Karcher.

Daniel Clifford Karcher Jr. leaves behind a legacy of love, family devotion, and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed and warmly remembered by all who had the blessing of sharing in his life. We will have a Celebration of life for Dan at a later date.
