Daniel Lee Harding

Daniel Lee Harding, 63, passed away on October 3, 2026, in Metairie, LA Danny was born in New Orleans, LA on December 19, 1962. As a child he grew up in the Carrollton Ave. area of New Orleans and later in Kenner, LA. As an adult he was known as Dan to his co-workers and friends.

He attended Bonnabel High School and later Point Loma Nazarene University and the University of Phoenix. He was a self-employed painter and had his own company for a while.

Danny enjoyed watching football, especially his favorite team, The New Orleans Saints. He enjoyed all kinds of music and was able to play the guitar and piano by ear. He loved reading and talking about Bible scriptures to anyone who would listen. He took dance lessons in his later years and enjoyed going dancing with his friends. When he got older health issue prevented him his painting trade and going dancing. At the time of his death Danny was employed at Tastee Donuts in Metairie, LA.

Danny will be missed by his friends and family. He is with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

At the time of his passing, he was proceeded in death by his father, Edward K. Harding, his mother, Carmen G. Harding, his sister, Marie Katherine Harding, and his brother, James David Harding.

He is survived by his sisters, Lilia H Brown and Rebecca H. Dufour and his nieces and nephews.
