Cynthia Ann McIntyre

Cynthia Ann Jarrell McIntyre, age 71, a lifelong resident of Abita Springs, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on Thursday, May 22, 2025.

Cynthia was a loving, kind, and gentle soul whose life reflected her deep faith in God. She was a devoted wife, a gracious mother and “Maw-Maw,” and a cherished friend to many. Known for her open heart and welcoming spirit, she embraced everyone with love and warmth.

She was the beloved wife of Jerry McIntyre for 52 years, and the devoted mother of Gerald McIntyre, Kerry McIntyre Adams, Frank McIntyre, and the late Lonnie McIntyre. She was a proud and adoring Maw-Maw to Jenni, Faith, Logan, Sofia, Kaleigh, Ashlyn, Annabelle, Mason, Kylie, Kimbree, Loralai, Lil’ Lonnie, and the late Joshua, Gracyee, and Isabella.

Her family invites friends and loved ones to join them in honoring Cynthia’s life at a graveside service on Saturday at 4:30 PM at Eternal Rest Cemetery, located at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, 75212 Hwy 437, Covington, Louisiana.
