Craig Pierce

December 5, 1957 — June 7, 2023

Covington

Craig Anthony Pierce Sr. passed away peacefully on June 7th , 2023, with his loving family by his
side.

Born December 5, 1957, to Mollie Valence Pierce and Jerry Joseph Pierce (both deceased),
where Craig lived his rambunctious young life in Westwego, Louisiana, with his three siblings
Bonnie Pierce Dufrene, Todd Andrew Pierce, and Cay Pierce Rodriguez (deceased).

Craig graduated from West Jefferson High School in 1975, where he nurtured a love for football
and met his soulmate, Stephanie Savoie Pierce. From that time, he partnered with his father in
Pierce Welding Services and then became the sole proprietor of CAPS Door Tech. Craig retired
in 2016.

Craig and Stephanie have two children and a beloved canine daughter, Sofi. Their oldest is Craig
Anthony Pierce Jr., then followed by their daughter, Courtney Pierce Budenich (Tyler). Craig Jr.
and Courtney blessed them with four grandchildren. “Cappy and Nana” are immensely proud of
Caylyn Ann Ritter, Cayleigh Pamela Ritter, Oden Anthony Pierce, and Jude Lynn Pierce.

Craig was strong-willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart and a great
sense of humor. His house was always filled with family and love. Craig had a passion for
motorcycles, and he and Stephanie enjoyed many trips. He was clever and full-to-the-brim with
knowledge gained from all his life experiences. He could literally fix anything and always said “If
I can’t fix it, it can’t be fixed!”

He will be remembered for all the heart and knowledge he shared with his family. He truly
loved each of them- and if you knew it, you knew it! When his time came, he carried himself
with gratitude, dignity, strength, and full of love for those who went before him. He will be
dearly missed by those who love him.

In typical Craig fashion, there are no services planned, certainly no pomp and circumstance. A
celebration of life will occur with details to be determined.
