Cora Catherine Lemoine

Memorial services for Cora Catherine “Cathy” Lemoine, 75, will be held Saturday, April 29 th at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Mass will begin at 1:00pm, followed by a burial at nearby Saint Joseph Abbey where she will be laid to rest.

Catherine was born and raised in Shreveport, LA and resided in Folsom, LA for the last 41 years. She was a member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church and was very passionate about the rescue and placement of retired greyhound racing dogs.

She is survived by her children, Shearn Neil Lemoine and wife Leigh Sibley Lemoine, and Christa Anne Lemoine; her brother Arthur Jay McLaughlin III, and sister Mary Ethelyn Domingue; and her three grandchildren, Aidan, Madalyn, and Skylar.

Catherine was preceded in death by her mother, Cora Cousin McLaughlin, and father, Arthur Jay McLaughlin Jr.
