Clifford Joseph “Cliff” Rayburn, Sr. age 75. of Harahan, Louisiana passed away on March 15, 2026. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Cliff was a lifelong resident of Harahan. 

Cliff grew up as a mechanic in the family business where he worked for many years. He also held many other jobs during his lifetime and retired from Audubon Nature Institute after several years of service. A proud and dedicated veteran, he served as a sergeant in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War.

He had a lifelong love for trains, planes and automobiles, and enjoyed restoring many over the years. Cliff was a man of great generosity and kindness, always ready to help those in need.

Above all, Cliff was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who cherished time with his family. He will be remembered for his love of family, his dedication and the many memories he shared with those closest to him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Becky Bucher Rayburn; his daughter, Juliane Rayburn, and son-in-law Vinnie Eaton; and his cherished granddaughters, Adelaide “Punkin” Eaton, Lucille “Lu Lu” Eaton, and Aline “Sweet Potato” Eaton, who brought him great joy. He is also survived by his siblings, Mary Rayburn Sebren (Terry), Jack Rayburn, Angie Rayburn Burgess, brothers- in law, Lou Bucher, (Janet), George Bucher and sisters in law, Margie Noel, Mary Ann Rayburn and Tracy Bucher, along with several nieces and nephews, and many, many friends he met throughout his lifetime.

He was preceded in death by loving his sons, Clifford Rayburn, Jr. and Thomas Rayburn; his parents, Thomas O. Rayburn, Jr. and Joyce B. Rayburn; his brothers, Thomas Rayburn, III, William Rayburn, and Sam Rayburn; his grandparents, Thomas O. Rayburn, Sr., Louise F. Rayburn, Clerfe Blanchard and Angele O. Blanchard.

Cliff’s life was marked by service, friendship, generosity, and a love for the things that brought him joy. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

In accordance with his wishes, Cliff will be cremated.
