Charles George Houidobre, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, at the age of 84. He is survived by his children, Charles Houidobre, Jr. (Glenda) and Carolyn Saucier (Glenn); his grandchildren, Justin Houidobre (Chelsea), Jason Houidobre (Meghan), Chad Grunberg, and Kevin Harvey (Stephanie); and, great grandchildren, Lucy Houidobre, Brody Houidobre, Rhett Houidobre, Schylar Grunberg, Chad Grunberg, Jr., Kinsley Harvey and Kevin Harvey, III.
Preceded in death by his parents, Jules and Anita Houidobre, and siblings, Jules Houidobre, Rita May Hess, and Theresa Connors. Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. Charles was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean War and a retiree of the State of Louisiana, Department of Transportation and Development.
A private memorial will take place at a later date.
