Charles Dillon

Charles Edward "Ed" Dillon, age 88 passed away on February 5, 2022 at his home in Goodbee, LA. He was a native of Tylertown, Mississippi and longtime resident of the Goodbee area of Covington. He is survived by his wife, Janie Dillon and the beloved father of three children, Anita “Beckie” Dillon, Timothy Dillon and Alfred “Eddie” Dillon, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by seven siblings, Wayne Dillon, Douglas Dillon, Era Barnes, Vera Mullinax, Marie Stillwell, Wilda McKenzie and Eugenia Brady. His parents were Gertrude Ginn Dillon and Eugene Dillon, both of the Lexie neighborhood of Tylertown, Mississippi. Ed was a Navy veteran who served honorably in the Korean War and loved traveling, golf, fishing, hunting and camping. A private memorial service will be held by family and close friends.
