Charlene Ezubith Jackson passed away peacefully in her home in Slidell Louisiana surrounded by family and loved ones on Sunday February 21st 2021 at the age of 85. She was born in Oakland California on July 18th 1935 to John Law and Ruth Murphy.
Charlene spent most of her life in the Hospitality Industry. She spent most of her life between Oklahoma, California, and Missouri.  She retired in 2004 at the age of 68. Charlene was one of a kind. She always had an open door to anyone.  Her biggest passion  was caring for others and raising children. She was so many things to so many people. Nothing made her happier than to see the joy on someone else's face. She also enjoyed doing embroidery and making blankets.

She was preceded in death by her Loving Husband Oscar Jackson of 32 years. He passed at the age of 81 in Purdy Missouri. Also proceeding in death of her parents John and Ruth, 1 brother David Law,  and 5 of her children Elizabeth Rodgers, Thomas Rodgers, Patricia Rodgers, Mary Rodgers, and Charles Rodgers.

She was survived by 1 brother Ernie Law and 1 daughter Helen Law ( husband Robert Law) and 2 sons Brian Jackson (wife Rebecka Jackson) and Jonathon Matson. 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and 5 step children.

In lieu of flowers we ask for donations to be sent to Encompass out of Covington Louisiana. We are eternally grateful for all the nurses in hospice who cared for her in final days. We also wanna thank her granddaughter Olivia Taylor and her husband Ronald Moss for caring for her through her final days making sure was comfortable.

There are no services being held at this time. We will hold a memorial at a later date to celebrate her life on Earth.
