Carolyn Ann Babin

Carolyn Ann Babin passed away at home with her three daughters by her side on Friday, March 22, 2024 at the age of 73. She is preceded in death by her parents, Morris Joseph Babin, Sr. and Hilda Marie Schellhaas Babin and by her brother, Morris (Jay) Babin, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Melanie Cambas Favalora (Kenny), Amy Cambas Braud (Taylor) and Rebecca Cambas Pincu (Joshua) and further by her beloved grandchildren, Nathan, Drew and Madeline Favalora; Adelyn, Caroline and Olivia Braud; and Leah and Luke Pincu. She is further survived by her brothers, Richard Babin (Donna) and Dan Babin (Kevin Dart), her sisters, Hilda (Mike) Babin Feehan, Ann Babin Gagnard (Gary), Mary Beth Babin Poirrier (Eugene) and Mary Catherine Babin Jerolleman (Donald) and by her sister-in-law, Cheryl Babin. Carolyn was a graduate of Annunciation High School and the University of New Orleans and for many years was a dedicated teacher in St. Bernard Parish. Her grandchildren were her reason for life and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. The family will be holding a private celebration of life.
