Carole Lynn Metcalf Graves

Carole Lynn Metcalf Graves Born May 4, 1948, died peacefully on January 19, 2023, in Mandeville Louisiana. Carole was the oldest daughter of William C. Metcalf and Harriett Lehman Metcalf of Waterville Ohio. Carole was a 1966 graduate from Anthony Wayne High School and married Carl Graves on August 2, 1969, and they shared 38 years together before his death in 2007. Carole was
a woman of faith who never met a stranger. Her passions were QVC shopping, gardening, sewing and crafting, and of course, her family. Carole always took the time to “smell the roses” and enjoyed life with her outgoing and sassy personality. While we will miss her, she is rejoicing in heaven.

Left to cherish her memories is her sister Sue Ann Metcalf, daughters Carla Graves (Myron Weeden) of Madisonville, LA and Caren Graves (Vas Hamilton) of Locust Grove, GA; five grandchildren Joseph (Melanie Coyne) Graves, Gaige, Olivia, Myles Hamilton, and Samuel Weeden; two great granddaughters Londyn and Sophia, brothers and Sister-in-laws and a host of nieces and nephews, and two lifelong friends Cheryl Spangler and Libby Weist.

A Memorial Mass will take place at Saint Benedict Catholic Church on Smith Road in Covington on February 4, 2023, at 10:00 am.
A celebration of life will take place on April 22, 2023, at the Whitehouse Cemetery.
